Welcome to our New Pastor, Joey Holloway!
We extend a warm welcome to Bro. Joey Holloway, his wife Rachel, and their daughters Ava, Alexis and baby Aubrey.
Joey graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School, attended UAB and is currently enrolled at Luther Rice College & Seminary.
He has preached at many churches throughout the area including Calvary Baptist, New Georgia Baptist, Crossroads Baptist, Fellowship Baptist, First Baptist Church of Mt. Olive, First Baptist Church of Chalkville and others. He has also taught Sunday School and Children’s Church, served as Deacon, and has been involved with teams and committees at several churches throughout the years.
“As Pastor of Pineywood Baptist, I look forward to being a servant leader along side each of you. I would like to see us as individuals, as well as a church, grow spiritually into what God wants us to be as we reach the lost and unchurched in our communities. God Bless,” stated Bro. Joey.
Joey enjoys preaching and reading God’s Word; spending time with family; watching movies and sports; hunting and fishing; golfing and vacationing at the beach.

Come Grow With Us!
We are all about Jesus Christ! We believe that Jesus was who He said He was, the Son of God who came and died for our sins.
Every person who walks through our doors is important to us.
As a group of God's people we care about you and your family and we're here, not only to feed you spiritually, but to help in any way we can.
We are all about relationships. We hope to cultivate and grow meaningful relationships with each other and grow in our relationship with God.
You Are Always Welcome at Pineywood Baptist!
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. 1 Thessalonians 3:12-11
